2800 Entertainment (Feat. goodsociety shelby)

Disco Dave, Trickey Jetson, & Tra Shark of 2800 ent get real with goodsociety

From the sandbox to the big stage, the three brothers of 2800 Ent talk about where they came from, how they ended up being one of the biggest acts out of VA, surprising musical inspirations, and more. .

how they met, big 28 part 2, & 28 forever

Disco Dave, Trickey Jetson, and Tra Shark open up about how they met, how they got their stage names, and their unbreakable bond. We also learn about their first songs and how they fell in love with hip-hop. The trio sees rapping as a hobby due to how easily lyrics come to them. The unique thing about the group is that, although they consider themselves a group, each member pursues their own endeavors, making music more for themselves than the need to make a “hit,” although the fact that they make hit songs is a bonus in and of itself. Tra Shark admitted to getting into music later in life, but with the skills he has acquired since starting, it does not seem like he started later and is just as talented as bandmates Disco Dave and Trickey Jetson.

Their favorite songs are the ones that are most personal to them. Their most recent project Big 28 Part 2, a continuation of Big 28 Part 1 just dropped with another project, 28 Forever, in the works. The artists discuss their creative process, avoiding distractions, networking, touring, getting signed to a record label, and how the album became one of the most popular mixtapes out of the 757.

Tour life, record deals, & Dream collabs

Trickey Jetson discusses tour life with record label EAT and doing shows with The Migos, Rich Homie Quan, K Camp, Rae Sremmurd, and Birdman. He reflects on his experiences with the record label. The group discusses their dream collaborations and offers interesting and comical insight into why they selected who they selected. Keep watching to see what artists these hit-makers are listening to. Their answers will definitely surprise you.

The future of the va “sound”

The talented trio talks about other 757 artists and strategizes on how new VA artists can blow up through the creation of a unique “sound”.
